    My Explorer Deluxe Arrived Today!

When I got home today my first hammock was waiting for me! Unfortunately I live in a new development and I don't have any trees big enough to hold me in my yard Anyways I can't wait until tomorrow to go to the woods and set it up for the first time!

Here are a couple of images of my unboxing!!! The last image compares the size to my current tent! I am stoked at how much room this will save in my pack!

I ordered a HH Explorer Ultralight and a Safari Deluxe for my husband. Two days ago the package arrived with the Ultra Light and a Scout. Talk about disappointed. I was happy to get the Ultra light, but a Scout instead of a Safari, wow, big difference. I called Hennessey and got it squared away, but now my hubby has to wait for his Safari. Bummer

I took the plunge and order an Exlporer Deluxe from HH's Odds & Ends Sale. They had three to choose from when I initially got the list and spoke them. A day and a half later when I finally made up my mind they only had one left. I got the one with the 2 3" repairs. They say they will stand behind it for the first year. I also ordered a pair of snake skins, duh, thats seems to a no-brainer and a significant aspect of the Hennesey system for setup and take down. I also odrder a new Hex fly to either use with his hammock or one of my others.

Mine will be home in a couple weeks I suppose. No hurry though.

I ordered another Safari without net and tarp to see if I could somehow rig it to have a double layer Safari without net. This would help with insulation and to keep bugs from biting through. The Safari I just got was only $39. Man, you can't beat that. SWEET!!!!
