Wildcat Hollow another option.
Let's hike!
I'm in. And it says I have to post at least 10 characters.
Will depend on the hike and weather with us. We had our first very cold hang last weekend, and snow flurries about froze our butts off the first night. I thought the Grayson Highlands hang was going to be cold, but that didn't even come close to this last one.
Yes, please count me in! I'm out of state till Nov 9th but open to wherever whenever after that. I've assembled all necessary gear, I think, & am eager to try it out.
Hey luke, let's look in to mohican.
Moe-z and I will be in.
Option for a short hike is nice for cold-weather camping for bailout if folks need it.
Always room for dayhikes, but when you are shivering at 1 am, its nice/mandatory to have a car close by to retreat to - especially those just learning the ropes of cold weather camping.
Wildcat obviously has the close forest road parking.
Zaleski has the water road/road hike/road parking.
Don't know about Symmes Creek or Mohican as far as having a relatively close bailout spot.
Check out the description of mohican. http://backpackohio.com/mohican.html. Zaleski and wildcat are always good.
mohican looks nice maby we should do that
