Winter Top Quilt, Cheap, Mass Production?

I was at a GA for the occupy movement and they were talking about the need for winterizing the camp. Wondering if you kind folks could put a guide together for DIY Winter Quilts?

Any other ideas you guys have to make these people more comfortable would be appreciated.

    Peace, Yogi out…*

Thats great, right on Yogi. There are a lot of DIY projects posted in the DIY section of the website. Just about guaranteed you can find what your looking for there. GL to ya

From what I've seen these people have setup tent cities, so for winter purposes, the cheapest options would be extra CCF pads for bottom insulation and perhaps a fleece bag liner or blanket to be inserted into their existing sleeping bags. I am sure going to your local thrift stores to pick such items up would be rather inexpensive.

    Cheers
