Ok.... Apparently I got an early version of the OMW. The measured RL on the tarp I have is 128". It does just just cover the ends of the hammock....

So if I just ordered one, does that mean I'm screwed if I wanna try one of WL's Owl hammocks as well later on down the road?

yeah, i was worried too and marty told me the early versions of his tarp had a shorter RL than the newer ones. so yeah, if yours is pretty recent then youre good.

No, Im pretty sure youll be fine since his current ones are longer.

And let me elaborate.... I was able to pitch the tarp and keep everything dry. I did have sufficient coverage.... Me personally, I just want more room. Since I dont carry my gear on my back, I afford myself a little more luxury in my space requirements. What I may consider to be inadequate coverage most will see as more than enough. I get that from my over analytical wife!!

I surely did not mean to suggest the tarp provides inadequate coverage in general... I just want more room. Personally.

Well I got mine today fellas. What a turnaround time. Can't wait to try it out..

An interesting development, When I was ordering the site said they were out of the green which bummed me a little but I ordered brown not minding as I have a brown tarp and like it.. Well apparently Marty either mistakenly or somehow picked up my brain wavelengths and sent me a green one.. Now I'm even more super stoked.
