Looks like a good time was had by all. Nice video Fronkey!
Your UQ performed like a champ-een, and Sarah and I thought for sure we were just hours behind you on Sunday afternoon when we pulled into the lower camp of Section 13 (we didn't know about the upper one until the next morning! d'oh). The campfire ashes were still warm and there was a faint ring around one tree not far from the fire ring. We were not officially part of Northern Fall Hang 2011, but feel like we were definitely "coattail hangers" adequate for honorable mention. That wind was a b*tch; nearly blew us off the hill above Sawmill Bog, and your locomotive metaphor was spot-on--exactly what I was thinking as it buffeted our tarp in the middle of the night. We were tandem hangin' and quite cozy. I'll attach photos, as our hang doesn't necessarily warrant a full-on trip report. You guys are hard core, staying out as long as you did. That weather wasn't exactly inviting, and the leaves were long changed and gone. But yes, a great area to visit--earlier next time.
Thanks!
Jonathan and Sarah

Thanks for the cool vid.
Geazerville!... you young whipersnaper.
Tortoise never for a moment stopped, but went on with a slow but steady pace straight to the end of the course.

Good to see that little doggy (Sparky) out and about sporting that stylish doggy backpack. That was a big all-in cook up on the go. Wow, the first camp site is nicely spread out, a good turn out too! That was a good tarp story, I want to buy something off Hammockgear.com now! That was a really, really good trip report! Thanks, Fronkey!
You for sure know where to hang your hammock and how to sit down comfy.
Thanks for sharing Fronkey.
