hey, some of you may have read about my Poncho Liner greenhouse I made whilst in santee, and I was wondering if anyone can give me any tips on how to make this a little better
lets say i want to make this into a sock of a sort. i have a few ideas id like to stick too, but i wanted to outline here and see what YOU would do.
my idea is this:
*poncho liner hung under the RL on my ENO.
*the liner is just a bit too short to fully cover the hammock, which works to help vent. i had the vent at the head end on my trial with good results.
*i want to use it with a UQ or not, without squishing the UQ if i do use it.
*side entry would be better for me, and id like to keep the whole thing in place until it gets taken down and packed.
*the bottom doesnt have to be insulative, but it would be nice.
so, my idea to accomplish this was to either take flat elastic straps and sew them to the sides of the PL, possibly using Omni tape so it can still be used as a blanket if needed.
I had thought of using either full length stretchy fabric or shock cord, but the fabric wouldnt let it be side entry or a blanket and the shock cord is usually stiff and thin, which could cause pressure points.
what you guys think? or should i just use it as is?
