Has anyone experimented with a yoga mat as a padding for your hammock?

I have one and thought about trying it this winter in addition to my regular blue wally world pad. Both should fit in my bridge with no problem. I have not tried this yet but it should help.

I've used two. One thin and one about an inch thick. I used the thin one over the summer off and on just to see what it was like. It tamed the calf ridge nicely for me, but I'd wake feeling a bit clammy.
Fall arrived right on schedule up here, and my DIY converted underquilt isn't quite enough when the temps drop into the low 50's upper 40's. I slept with the thicker pad last Thursday night. I was toasty warm. I almost took off my socks. It doesn't conform as nicely as the thinner pad, but it was still comfortable enough to sleep on. The nice thing about the yoga pad is that they are somewhat squishy, nothing like the mat that Uncle Sam gave me to sleep on. I'm planning on cutting a diamond pattern about half way through the thick one to see if that makes it a bit more comfortable.
Eventually I'll find time to make a down underquilt. I have everything but time.
My Yoga pad is heavier than I would want to carry. Pulling it in a pulk might be OK.
The diamond pattern worked for me on a 1/2" WW pad, cut it 1/4" deep. allowed the pad to flex more. Have since gone to a UQ so didn't get much time on it.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
I've even seen thin (about 1/8" or 1/4") yoga mats even at the dollar store. Makes me curious what the R value is, or what temperature they'd be good down to. My guess is a 1/8 " closed cell would be 0.5 R value. But maybe these might be open cell foam and would provide poor insulation?
In comparison a 5mm zotefoam has an R rating of 0.7 and sells for 16$ : here
Perhaps they'd be enough when added to a ridgerest to wrap up the sides of the arms?

I tried the yoga mat that came with the wii fit and it got me down to freezing with no problem at all. That was back at the end of October.
