    New River

I have a switchback on its way and I am looking for a full length UQ.
I like the price of the New River but would like anyone's opions on this UQ that has one.
Are they easy to set up?
How is the fit on the Switchbacks and WBBB?
Is there a better option in this price range, (100-175 range)?

I'm pretty positive about the NR, It's a great quilt

Fit's very well on a SB and BB along with pretty well any other hammock that you can find.

I have a NR with the Deep Winter upgrade takes it to 0 degrees or so I am told. It fits the WBBB very well. I have a down UQ for when space limitations prevail (remember mine is over stuffed) but the NR is a fine UQ that will serve you well.

Thanks for the kudos LD. One thing to note is that the standard 3 seasons pack to about 1/2 the size of the winter version.

Should have gone that way I guess but it sure is cozy to snuggle up in gobs and gobs of extra warmth.

One thing I forgot to mention is the size of the NR gives a bunch of wiggle room in the BB. I have yet to be able to drop insulation off of any part of my substantial hog body (when the UQ is set up properly).

I'm late to the party but I would like to make my case for the New River. I have owned several New Rivers, still own them, and have used them down to the mid 20's. I really like them for the price and packability. Paul does great work and you will not be disappointed if you buy one of these quilts from Paul and AHE.

Based upon my experience with the Jarbridge River (New River's younger brother), I can only suggest you will be very pleased with the New River. Paul does excellent work, and his quilts are great.
