    Gotta go.... really..
Plus, if you have a full-season license, you have an excuse to stay longer. Hit all the big-named blue-ribbon rivers: Bighorn, Yellowstone, Madison, Gallatin, Missouri, Stillwater, Blackfoot, Clark Fork *and* Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone (they are two different rivers), Beaverhead... I'm sure I'm missing some.

I've actually been working over the concept for a "What to do if you have two weeks in Montana" write-up, though two weeks isn't enough to hit all of the above and still see everything.

Awesome report. I was in the same places in the park you were about 2 weeks later last year. I really do love that country. Like you the fishing was nice. I wish we had streams like that in NC.

I have some great friends who make their home in Palmer. My wife and I spent about four days there in May. The Mat-Su valley is a beautiful place!
