Welcome to the forum and greetings from Potter County.
Great story on your backyard hang. Sounds like the house has a remote keyless entry.

Greetings from schuylkill county.
Welcome from the Jersey Shore! I laugh about that trail name thing. Like you, I just picked some random user name (fubba28) when I signed up to hammock forums. I had no idea it would be my trail name.
After a few months on the forum, I started thinking about how I would explain such an odd name. It all came from years ago when I first started using the internet. When I was a kid, my mother used to pinch the fat around my kidneys and it was very ticklish. I would laugh and laugh. She called that fat area "chubba."
So the first time some website asked for a username, I chose chubba. Alas, chubba was already taken, as was virtually every permutation of chubba down to chubba34159278564. What the hell? So then I thought I'd try fubba. Already taken, but not half as popular as chubba. Eventually I found fubba28 was available and have been using that for most sites that require a username.
But I didn't want that as my trail name. I already had a trail name from six years of hiking and backpacking around Europe in the 80's. Back then I used to bleach my hair into a white flat top (it was the 80's, okay?). Around a campfire one night, somebody said I looked like the Silver Surfer. For the next six years, I don't think anybody called me by my real name again when I was out hiking and camping. And I had to keep that bleach blonde flattop haircut for way too long just so I looked like my trail name.
I'd meet someone while camping on a beach in Corfu, Greece, or Ibiza, Spain, and they'd say, "You're the Silver Surfer? I've heard about you back in Denmark." And I've never even been to Denmark.
So pick that trail name carefully, 'cause you'll be stuck with it for a while. Or maybe your trail name will pick you!
You might want to think about the MAHHA Fall Hang at Gathland State Park, MD, October 14 through 16. That's my first group hang and I'm psyched. Shouldn't be too far from you.
Hiya, welcome from ditto; Southeastern PA.
I just got into hanging and my oldest son has already spent more time in the hammock than I have. Now he would like a hammock in his bedroom. I see a pattern emerging here...
