Hammock Length

The current D.I.Y. gathered end hammock started at 10' length. Gathered length finished at 9'6" with a 62''width. Very comfortable sleeping on either side. Am 5'10" 185# need to finish netting.

Thanks for all the advice. Just got back from a quick overnight (second hammock trip this week), and ordered myself some more fabric. I'll shoot for 10'-10' 6" cut length, since I'm a couple to more than a couple inches shorter than most of the people on here

I also picked up a net curtain from Ikea for dirt cheap, which I think is gonna work just fine; I just need to trim it down a bit and maybe add some velco.

Now I just gotta find a friend with a sewing machine in time for the MAHHA fall hang...

Make a long hammock using temporary end-securing like tie-wraps or just a knot. Change the length until you find what works best for you. Cut and secure.
