I am kind of new to this whole hammock thing and just got the Skeeter Beater Pro. I added the paracord to the inside zippers which is nice. I got a ridgeline but not sure if I want to run it through the netting or not as I likely will also want to hang the hammock without the netting. Right now I have the ridgeline connected to the carabiners on the end and it seems to work well. I can flip the hammock easily and still use it. I have found the hang more comfortable and easier to get in and out of with the ridgeline. I just am not sure if I have it right or if I need to attach like above for best performance. I was really considering that above mod but like to have the ability to flip it too. Any thoughts?

It explains how to make a removable interior ridgeline. For the GTSB.

Like I mentioned in my post (#27), I use a adjustable ridgeline using amsteel blue with an adjustable bury so I can loosen the ridgeline and flip the hammock to use the non-netting side.
