Not a problem. Just be careful if you pull cord through the loops; the cord can saw through the webbing if you have any friction.
I use a Marlin spike hitch and toggles. The one problem with that method, I find, is I have to remove the toggles each time when I send the webbing back through itself. Do most people use Dutch Clips? Are they expensive?

Also make sure the loops are well sewn.

I don't know about most people, but I do know a lot of folks use the Dutch Clips. JacksrBetter sells them at $12.95/pair for 1" straps.

I use Dutch Clips on one....a nacrabiner on the other. Just testing.
Some use a caribiner.

i like hardware... dutch clips or those black diamond 23'r biners.
just easier to detach for adjustment, esp. around branches.

How do you use a nacrabiner? I received two in a PIF (along with some amsteel), but I have no clue how to use them.
