    My DIY Frankenstien Hammock Setup

Hey there folks, I thought I would take a minute here to show all you fine forum members my DIY hammock setup that I created. It's not the most flashy but it definitely gets the job done. It is a bit on the short side(only 81" from gathered end to gathered end-which is a couple inches under 7') but I am a short dude( 5'5" to be exact) so I can actually still get a pretty decent diagonal lay in it. Luckily for me though since not only am I short but I am actually quite comfy laying down the centerline of the hammock. I find I like the slight curve that accompanies a center lay. It works for me though and that's what important right? Anyways, hope you all enjoy and till next time, happy hangin!

And for all of you that are going to say I shouldn't be using 550 cord to suspend my hammock, I know it's not the best choice but it's what I had at the time when I set it up. Christmas is coming up...maybe I will get some nice whoopie slings and webbing for a present

Lol I labeled it frankenstien due to it being kind of a mix match setup and due to it starting out its life as a different hammock.
