I have been experimenting with my Superfly (a lot of searches on HF) to find the best rigging. I am using 3/32" shock cord on the doors with bowline knots on the end (leaving a 3" tagline out of knot). I have a cord lock on one side of the shock cord for each side. When I want the doors out of the way I pull the shock cord from one door to the opposite door-thru the D-ring-then the tagline goes thru the cord lock. This keeps the doors out of the way and on the inside away from any strong winds. Pull outs are 3/32" shock cord tied down to a central stake. I am using 3/32" shock cord tensioners on the corners. I am not sure this will keep the tarp taught in a strong wind- I am interested to hear other SuperFly users results when they use no tensioners.
