What a Nightmare - sleeping in my Blackbird

So I setup my blackbird and pheonix 3season UQ the other night and had a sleep out in the back yard.

Comfy and cosy I nodded off around 11:30.

Then it hit me I was freezing and shivering even though the sun was already up I looked and my blackbird was falling apart as I lay in it, the threads were just unravelling themselves, the underquilt was nowhere to be seen.
I carefully slid out of what was left of my hammock and watched it crumble to dust right in front of me. I was standing cold and without hammock in the middle of the woods. .......... Then I woke up ..... Wow! what a dream! or nightmare you could say. I was still cosy and toasty warm bundled up in my hammock. I then looked out at the stars (I was tarpless) and dozed back off.

Maybe you should lighten up on your daily Heet nightcap while hammocking.

I was almost ready to call FEMA.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. - E. B. White (1899 - 1985)
