Hello all, well like many others i have read the forum for quite awhile now. I used to be an avid camper years ago. Lived in Kansas then. Spent more time at the lake or in the woods in the summer, than my own house....... Then got Married and kids showed up,,,,,, somehow. Moved to Ohio (beautiful country around here compared to kansas) Well with my wife being an accountant and a girly girl who thinks camping is ickky with all the bugs and critters. Well camping just wasn't much of a priority with the boss.
My oldest daughter (7 year old) has been listening to my g and pg rated camping stories and now has become my greatest allie in the quest for the great outdoors (gotta love the usefullness of kids) so i have been given the go ahead to look into it again. Hence here i am. Well i have a tendacy to ramble on so ill close for now, and post some of my questions in other threads. Just gotta keep my wife away from the "what has gone bump in the night against your hammock" threads and i should be golden.Thank you all.
