Thanks for all the replies and the link although it looks like you've WIDENED my search instead of narrowing it like I had hoped ;P
My girlfriend says she has a neck pillow & a stuff-sack pillow type thing. She is going to bring them over and I'll try them out before making a decision.
I want the stuff sack to work because I prefer not to have a 1 use pillow.
That being said, the Bear Cub is pretty awesome too.

I have a thermarest lined stuff sack that holds my TQ. I insert a kids floaty and its and instant pillow. I cut it down the center and blew it partially up. It worked fine for me every night last week in my hammock.

I'm with you on the single use item...I gotta multi-purpose stuff. A stuff sack with some clothing is the way I go.

Nice option!
I agree that it is hard to stay on most, that is why I like the Exped red one in the op's first picture. Its hard to see in that post, but there are stitches in that pillow. The bottom "bulge" is more pronounced than the top or middle. If you only semi inflate, your head presses on the thinner top part and the air flows to the bulge under your neck. Really comfy and it kind of anchors your head in the sweet spot. Hard to explain. I also have a new one of AHEs small cub pillows. I love it, but think I like the exped better.
I just got a small one from joanns for couple bucks! Stuffss great.
Here's yet another winner - Montbell pillow. It's like the one in your 1st picture with the built in ridges. This is critically important in an inflatable pillow. Otherwise, your head will roll off the pillow. That doesn't happen with the Montbell.

This is how my pillow rolls. I used it every night last week and twice this week and it works out wonderful. If its too thick I let out air, not thick enough add more air.
Cost $2.99 at the dollar store
