It looks like a Grand Trunk, and there is a distributer name on the bottom of the card that you barely got in the photo, Hammock Source. And they carry Grand Trunk.

Maybe it's Grand Trunk B-stock relabeled and resold.

    Same Hammock

I just got the same one from Sierra Trading Post for $13 and change (but had to pay for some shipping). This must be a common time of year to discount these or something. Lots of places online have them for around $20 too.

I got this as my "lounging" hammock or one of my kids can camp in it. I think it will be just a little short for me. I'll add some whoopies and a ridgeline and have a nice hanging rig on the cheap.

Good find though. We don't have a K-Mart in the local area any more. Last one shut down a few years ago. Terrible shame too.

Cool that they show a webbing suspension on the set up. Seems like I usually see rope on those cheapies.

Looks as if I'll be stopping in my local Kmart tomorrow, thanks for the heads up.

    R.Rev,
This had about a foot of cheap rope thru the gathered end channel and an S hook. So it had a partial suspension. The fabric was silky like an Eno. Overall it was a good hammock. I tried to justify buying it, but I left it for someone else.

You can get a Byer Moskito hammock for about the same price, and it comes with a mozzie net!

They have those skeeter hammocks at Academy for $40 but they look like they have a lot of ropes to tangle. I went by the local kmart tonight and added 2 of theirs to my collection (looks just like the grand trunk btw). Put one of 'em side by side w/my eno dn and the kmart version was slightly bigger. Then I took it outside for a quick hang and the thing is actually pretty sweet. No problems at all laying diagonal. Guess I need to get busy makin' a couple of whoopie and ridgline sets

I was referring more to the suspension to the tree. Grand Trunk does use some rather funky rope in the ends with an S-hook. Come to think of it they have a set up much like the slap straps but constructed differently so that may be what they are showing. It's easy enough to swap out those components for a different system. That's one of the things many people do right away.
