Welcome to the forum Allan. We have a saying here - no pics? it didn't happen.
But we are glad you are hanging and having fun. Would love to see some pics of your area when you have a chance.

Oh, that sounds wonderful! Sleeping in a hammock in Scotland alone, but across.from a nice distillery as well... That might just be my next holiday on Islay ;-)

Welcome to the Forums from Canada! +1 on the pictures as well. That's an area I most definitely would like to see.

I'd also like to welcome you to HF! You might want to keep some of the webbing as a treehugger and get some whoopie slings additionally to attach to your hammock.

Welcome aboard from Florida, Allan. I'm an old submarine sailor from back in the 70's. We made 3 stops in Scotland, the first in Dunoon, the next two in Faslane. Only there for a short time but I fell in love with the people and the country. May have something to do with the ancestry.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
