Black Bishop bag and whoopies ?

Ok I have a homemade bb bag and am now using whoopies. I was using rings and strap before. My question is what do you guys do with the whoopie thats on the bottom end of the bag? I really dont want it hanging loose. I had thought about making a velcro sealed pouch over the hole and stuffing the whooping sling in there with a toggle or something similar to keep it from sneaking back into the bag.

    Suggestions would be appreciated.

On my homemade bishop bag at both ends I laid down a heavy duty hair tie and ran a zig-zag stitch over 1/4 inch or so right on the bishop bag material. I just gather up the whoopie sling and wrap it a couple times with the now attached hair tie. I thought I'd have to re do it from time to time as hair ties wear out but I see no evidence of failure after nearly 2 years.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

I wrap it around the bag and tuck it under the cord lock when I close the bag.

When I used whoopies, that's what I did. Wrapped a couple of times and tucked the working end under the wraps. Held fine.

Another method, which I preferred, would be to use a Dutch Biner or climbing carabiner and totally detach the whoopie from the hammock. Girth hitch a chainlink onto the hammock and clip the biner to it. Now you can clip the whoopie to the biner and you have a fully detachable suspension.

    YMMV

I use that extra line to further compress the hammock and bag, then just tuck it under the wraps.

Advark thats what I was thinking of doing.

After I have hung the hammock with whoopie slings a few times...I am not sure thats the suspension for me. If I am taking the tree straps already. My old suspension was straps and rings...I think I like it better. Time will tell.

Thanks folks. I have since added another pocket at the other end for the other sling, and a elastic bellows pocket of net for the straps and toggles (as the BBB is silnylon, the net allows a little drying of wet straps. The small slit on the backside in the web portion also acts to keep water from travelling down the 'mock.

I recently made a BBB for my hammock. I just leave the whoopie at the foot end of the hammock hanging out of the bag and after (quickly) stuffing the hammock in the bag and cinching the head end closed, I wrap the whoopie hanging out around the bag.

I am pretty dang new to hammocks, but I really love the way that this entire system works. Quick and easy.
