"The Road goes ever on and on,
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can.
Pursuing it with eager feet
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say."

Enjoyed the photos an awful lot. Can't wait till I can go for my first hang, even if it is a solo this fall.

Thanks for the nice comments regarding the photos everyone.
Looking Glass may be next. I'll keep you posted!
Thanks for sharing. That looked like a nice, relatively easy getaway for a night. I like those from time to time.
Great photos. I can't wait till I have the opportunity to make it out that way myself. Maybe next group hang out that way.

I've been lovin' Pisgah for years brother, Some of the most beautiful country on the planet in my opinion. The family hits the BRP at least once a year and catch some biorythm reset from the road. That panaram function is awsome! Those would make some killer web page banners.

I can only afford to live free.
Anything else cost far too much.
JayS...those quick ones are good for re-charge. Makes my 14 hour days worhtwhile!
Catavarie...you got it. Of course, I am moving to So Cal in two months...
Captain Smiley...It is gorgeous country. Glad you like the Panos. It is about 8-10 photos stitched together.
Looks like you can find river access along the first section of either side of the trail. Would you recomend hiking up clockwise or counter-clockwise? I'm assuming that John Rock is about 12 o'clock and the parking lot is roughly 6 (not technically right, I know).
