A little background, so ya can understand why this is a big deal to me.
Back in 07, I had an artifical valve and a quad by-pass done. Everything seemed like it was going well. My kayaking and camping was going full steam. In March of this year, all 4 grafts from the bypass collapsed, resulting in another HA. After several days in the cardiac unit, and 2 days in the cath lab, they were able to place a stent, The bad news was that now only blood is supplied to one side. The Doc said "Don't Strain" several several times.
Well, I am not going to go out, waiting on somebody to unplug me or change my "Depends"

I had been pushing the envelope, riding my bike, and walking. So on the 6th, last weekend, I snuck off over to Stubblefeild to the Lone Star Hiking Trail, TH6.
I loaded up kinda heavy, for a "short day hike" but then again, I was trying to push it. Starting early, I made the 4 mile trek in just under, 3 hours...here are some pics.
Alan and I padlded down to this area last year and as you can see, all this green grass was all water back then.
Trail Head 5, this is on the bottom end at FM1375.
Here is some pics of my DIY camera mount ( found the instructions here on HF)
