    I really like that pack. It has a place for a bladder, if ya use a bladder. the top cover has a zipper pocket and the hole thing is quite roomy.
    I wore it loaded up around in the house before I pulled the tags off. As far as comfort, for me it is just fine and at $24.00 bucks it is finer.

    I put 3 bottles of water in each of the side zipper pockets and can pack enough for an overnighter. @ 20 pounds and I aint a gram weenie.

    I ended up getting the matching fanny pack for small stuff. phone,gps,camera,headlamp,extra knife and hang 2 more bottles of water on that.

    Thanks for the post and update! Good luck with the heart, sounds like you have the right frame of mind just don't over-do it!Sometimes getting things in moderation stinks, but, at least you are still up & out getting it!
