Explorer or Ultralite?

I just ordered a Explorer Deluxe, that 210 Oxford is the best feeling nylon IMO, and very tough. I'll be using my WB Edge tarp so the setup is not that heavy.
If WB made a Blackbird with that 210 oxford fabric, I'd buy another one in a second, for now I'll be adding a gear shelf to the Explorer Deluxe.

Really? I thought snakeskins were considered one of the better ideas since sliced bread. They seem easy enough to use from the one or two vids I saw on youtube but maybe they just make it look easy.

And how about those "speed bags" available on Jacks are better? Anyone have any experience with those? Seems like just another take on the same idea.

They are a neat idea, but when you go to stow the hammock, I find the hammock compressed in the snake skin unwieldly. I prefer stuffing my hammock into a bishop bag, and the tarp into it's own stuff sack.
