    First time tarp and Hammock

Well I finished my tarp and hammock, with the suspension came in at 3 pounds even. Whew, what a experience. All supplies bought through forum member businesses if possible. Plenty of advice and examples from forum members. Now to get the knots and loops much neater. 10 by 12 tarp, gathered in hammock for a 6 ft person. Now for the first trip this fall.

Congrads...I am also awaiting my first hiking trip to give my DIY setup a proper usage.

    Enjoy sleeping in mid-air!

Sounds great. Spent the day working on a new tarp and channels to gather my next hammock. Isn't DIY fun?

    "Go tie your knots"

Thats what the wife said tonight when I mentioned something about knots. Hopefully I will get it setup in the backyard again with the tarp and be able to adjust the tieout lines etc. Yeah it is fun doing something for yourself.
