    Gear Buy List

Hey guys, I was just sitting around thinking about the gear that I needed, as opposed to just really wanted, and which order I should buy it in, etc. But I'm really excited to have it planned out and I was wondering what gear the HF members were looking forward to getting in the near future. Here's my gear buy list:

    1. AHE Lost River 2/3 UQ
    2. A smaller, lighter pack. Split decision between a MOLLE Assault Pack or a Jansport Tehipite 42
    3. MacCat Standard Tarp
    4. Fabric for a DIY hammock (more of a project than a buy but still new gear!)
    5. Really good rain gear.

Now, I know the rain gear should probably be a little higher on the list but I have so many of those emergency ponchos I feel like I have to use em all up!

So post your lists guys, I'd like to see what gear you've been craving.

Might pull the trigger end of the week and get another GT Skeeter Beater Pro, full length AHE New River UQ, another 10' x 12' OES sil tarp. 4-Nano 23 Beiners definitely, and a few more Ti Stakes. Have everything else for my addictions..lol Decisions, Decisions! Need to make up my mind and wife needs to put in for vacation time in late Sept. or early Oct to take another week of backpacking.

Ah Cuben... I kinda want a Cuben Fiber everything but it's just too pricey for me atm.

@REV I'm actually beginning to get into bicycle touring (maybe motorcycle if I save enough dough to buy one) and so that means... MORE GEAR! I'm gonna need racks and panniers.

@Newton I just built a wood gas stove out of two canned goods cans that worked great, so you should definitely attempt a build before you buy one. I think mine cost me about $0.00 since I just recycled cans my roommate used to make dinner one night. If you do make one, beware the JB Weld as it burnt off of my stove after the first inferno-like burn test. Those things get hot.
