Every time I hang in a tree I get a coconut to the head.....stupid coconuts
They are not the same, almost the same design, DD uses different materials than Claytor DD uses polyester and Claytor nylon fabrics. Different tarp and so on.

Yeah, I thought the same thing, after researching camping hammock companies across the world, it seems that non-American companies tend to use the same general design. Not that I'm knocking that, but it suggests that the US/Canadian cottage industry tends to innovate a bit more, IMHO.
I think the DD Hammocks haven't been patented, possibly why they're so widely copied.
