Thanks for helping me decide about hammocks!

I just joined this forum, but have been reading it for a few months. I became interested in hammock camping after reading about kayak camping with a hammock in the book Without a Paddle: Twelve Hundred Miles Around Florida By Sea Kayak.

I've tent camped most of my life -- though not more than a few times each year -- and have recently become interested in combining my love of the water with my love of camping.

I started searching, reading these forums, watching the videos, and ultimately found and bought a Hennessy Hammock (Explorer Deluxe). I did my first canoe / hammock camping (after first also converting a friend!) on a three-day trip on the South Fork of the Potomac in West Virginia about a month ago. I'm hooked. I like it so much I want to hang a hammock in my bedroom -- my bed just isn't comfortable any more...

So, I thought it was time to join up. Thanks to all of you for the help you've given me thus far just by reading your posts. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions about hammock camping in the future...
