    MYOG Ridgeline hooks.

    I couldn't wait for Dutch's lovely Ti hooks to turn up

    This heat treated (pink! )aluminium bottle opener looked a reasonable shape for a hook. Being heat treated, it should offer good strength.

    ...so, I hacked it about with various sharp metal spinny things...

    and this magically appeared a few minutes later

    Works like this;

    You could fit 20 or so of Dutch's hooks in this one, theres no comparison,but I'm sure this is stronger. In use, its been great on my RL.

    I'm thinking of keeping this in situ and using the Ridiculously good Dutch hooks for the tarp prussiks.

    Nice job on the hook even if it is pink. It just means you know which one is yours.

    I have a ton of those from work (giveaways to clients and such)! Maybe even convert some to ridgeline holders (like a ridgeline organizer but in singles).
