Great work - I'm looking at getting hold of some material to make my own too.
Struggling to find sil over here, but am toying with the idea of getting some coated ripstop and making my first one from that...

All I can say is WOW. Now THATS a tarp. How did you sew the tie outs on top of the ridge?
Nice job turminator. Well done on the sewing job and everything. Even choice of color for tarp and line lol. Nice work.
BTW your llama thing has nice hair and nice teeth. Also looks kinda like my old 7th grade science teacher. HAH no joke either! Just give the llama glasses.
There is some silnylon 30D on sale from Ebay, 1.80 a foot I believe.

It doesn't look like they have it now. Cost £2.50/m.
Google online fabrics, theres pages of vendors with some nice stuff tucked away.
My fave is fabrics n stuff, I use them lots.
Glad you like BillAll I can say is WOW. Now THATS a tarp. How did you sew the tie outs on top of the ridge?
The RL tie outs were reinforced with a rectangular patch of the same nylon, then seam sealed. The poly bias tape was stitched to this in a box-x pattern, with an extra line of sewing through the ridge seam for extra-strength.
I think that ridge tie-outs are a must have for coated fabrics, so the RL doesn't wear through the coating.
@Deadphans
Thanks muchly
LOL on you science teacher. I had one similar.
You have made me a job now, have to photoshop some glasses on
