just because my Claytor was awesome from the get-go doesnt mean that I didnt tweak it anyway!
here's what I did:
added 1" polyprop webbing in place of the stock ropes.
sewed on a webbing loop to the hang straps.
got me some JrB "tri-glides" for the ease of setup.
added a Spectra structural ridgeline
changed out the stock netting string for some elastic cording, with glove hooks for the ridgeline.
made some 1/8 aluminum rod spreader bars for the mesh ceiling.

I'll be testing it in the real world asap. so far, so good. The ridge tightens up nicely when lying inside, and the JrB quilt attaches just right. My MacCat tarp is still in transit but Im hoping to add glove hooks to the tarp with Prusik knots to the ridgeline for a nice taught pitch.
