    The net hangs from the structural ridge line, so it's the same distance away from you as most attached nets. From the SRL it spreads out to meet the sides of the hammock and the corner weights keep it reasonably taut.

    Having experience with shockcord from your stretch-side mods, how do you think this net would work with a bottom perimeter channel with shockcord in it? I'm thinking if the tension was right, it would be easy to get in and out of but snug up against the bottom of the hammock when you were in it. You'd have to get the top-to-bottom height of the bug net just right and the length of shockcord just right, but it seems like it would work. In the end you'd have a "sealed" bug net that was easy to get in and out of without zippers, right?
