    The gear list posted show 55oz of food for 5 days, seems to be a diet to lose weight?

    Not sure what you mean I posted no gear list for the summer gear video.

    If you are referring to the 3 season video list where I posted the gear list I was messing around with numbers for a 2-3 day hike. I actually made a food video for that hike whereby I was bringing approx 2lbs of food per day or 160oz

    Again it's consumables and everyone brings different amount of food.

    Raul, how do you find that those Big 100 bars stand up to heat?

    I find that chocolaty bars/snacks tend to melt rather easily in the summertime heat (6+ months out of the year here in FL) and just turn into a giant mess when I try to eat them. If they stand up decently well, I may start looking at them for one of my snacks.

    they handled well between 80 - 85*F with some melting. I just kept it in the package and pushed them up like a push pop
