    Howdy

Hey HF, just figured I'd introduce myself. Names david, Taco is my screen name because i drive a toyota TACOma... love it too! anyway, im new to the hammock scene but i think it sounds like a blast and an overall better way to camp. Super pumped about getting my ENO Doublenest in later this week. Any tips/tricks would be greatly appreciated. I've learned a lot the past few days just snooping around on the fourms, seems like yall know your stuff and are super friendly. Perfect kind of community to be in! Cant wait to join the hangin crew! Im from East Texas by the way, so if anyone is from that area or anywhere close hollar and maybe we can hang sometime! I find camping is always more fun when your with a group of good people!

Welcome to hammock forums. The only way I found a consistently comfortable lay in my ENO DN was to add a ridge-line. Easy and cheap it took the fidgeting out of my ENO setup.

Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......

Welcome aboard. Best advice to give you is don't use their slap straps. Made of nylon and will stretch a lot.

Thanks for the warm welcome all. and the advise as well. I've already got a adjustable ridge line from whoopieslings on the way as well, ive heard they help a ton. and as for the slap straps, im regretting ordering them already. They looked and i heard they were super easy, and im all for easy, but then ive heard a lot about them stretching too. Im pretty light so maybe they wont stretch quite as bad, but i guess ill see. seems like most people say whoopieslings are the way to go so i guess ill grow and learn as i go! Thanks again everyone!
