Reference to a game show named Jeopardy. I think it is still on tv but I don't think Alex Trabek is host/emcee any more.

    Thanks for sharing!
I'll give the Snake Skins a try. Even though it might work with the stuff sack, the skins are a cool solution...
    And I don't have a TV - that's why I never came across that show ;-)

Thanks for asking this question. I was thinking the same thing. I am currently a group deweller and looking to make my first purchase. The WBBB will be what I get, but I was unsure of the 1.1 v 1.7 decision. Good luck with it!

I went with the WBBB 1.1 dbl ... it's more than enough for my weight ( approx 150 lbs ) and it gives me an extra layer where I can experiment with pads or other stuff for insulation. :]

    Quite similar to my considerations.
WBBB has the unique feature of a footbox which should be very handy. My only "concern" is how to use the WBBB when no mosinet is required. You can't get it really out of the way. A separate bugnet would be more easy to adjust to the actual requirements of the trip. But the WB Traveler does not come with the footbox...
And double layer provides the chance to add some insulation. I like that idea because even in Asia you can have quite cold nights or windchill that is cooling.
Altogether that sounds like very sophisticated problems ;-)

Warbonnet has a separate bug net for the traveller. That hammock is quite wide and the footbox may not be a major loss. I've heard very good things about both pieces of gear.

Not quite true. You can set the bugnet up on the other side, leaving it open.

The Traveler does not need a footbox as the asym lay is great! I don't have the separate Skeeter net for mine so no idea how well it works. Our new 1.1 dbl BB has two straps near the footbox that quite nicely ties back the Skeeter net. All you need to do is unzip it all the way, disconnect the zipper side tie out, and tie the two straps ...simple.

I weigh 260 and the 1.1 dbl works great for me. The 1.7 dbl feels more stiff and I actually prefer the 1.1...thinking about getting a second 1.1 dbl (the new one is my bride's). YMMV

+1. On my newer 1.1 dbl, there is a set of ties attached to the hammock to roll up and tie the bug net out of the way.
