2 in a Hammock - WBBB DL1.7 or HH Safari?

    Me 5'-10" 175#, the "She Unit" 6'-0" 135#
Would a WBBB be big enough for 2 to strech out in ?
Or should I go with the jumbo HH Safari?

I like the fact that the WBBB is dbl layer, so I can slip a 1/4" foam in there for summer camping. with a Safari I would have to make/buy another stinkin UQ.

    Any thoughts.

I have both. Weight limit is probably greater with the WB 1.7 dbl, only about 350 for the Safari I think. But the Safari is a good bit roomier. You say "another UQ"? Can't you just use whatever UQ you already have? I use most of my UQs on the Safari.

Check out the Hammock Bliss no see-um. Its big and strong and can be inverted to use the no seeum net as a double layer bottom for cold weather hanging. I have one and added an adjustable ridgeline. Not my video but here it is.

Have you had her with you in your current rig? I've taken a nap with my wife before in my double ENO (see my gallery), but overnight? NO WAY. Too many elbows and knees getting pushed together. If you're only taking her infrequently, get a cheap one like the Hammock Bliss. If you're planning on having her like camping with you, get her a nice set up.

Maybe that would be a good reason to "upgrade" to another hammock?

    Thanks for the reply's.
I went with the Safari, I did not like the high "walls" on the BB.
glad to hear the Safari is roomier.
I have 4 HH explorer/exped's and 1 cheap bug hammock, so enough for my family of 5. My 3 kids and I kayak camp a few times a year, this is moms 1st trip. My and her typ sleep all "tangled up" so I thought a double would be they way to go. I'll pack the extra HH explorer just in case it doesn't work out. As far as UQ's, I pattern and custom fit each one for each hammock.

    Thanks,

My wifes only complaint is that we can not sleep two adults in a single hammock. We are too big and move around too much at night to make it practical.
