Now that is very interesting. Many have been saying hang it more loosely to avoid/get rid of the calf pressure. But you hang it more loosely and develop a problem. But there has been at least one other that has reported hanging it tighter to solve a calf pain problem. Yes indeedy, very interesting!

Thanks to this thread I ordered a SB Classic 1.1 DL yesterday. And I thought I couldn't afford another hammock!
I think that the 1.1d and 1.9 both have the ability to use something (like an arrow shaft) as a net spreader. The LH doesn't have that provision. I talked to Dale and he said that at 5'6", I'd be swallowed up by the SW. He said that the length of the LH was plenty for me. The difference between single and double layers would be up to you. Double has less chance of a bite thru of bugs, slightly warmer and helps to keep the pads from moving (if you're using pads).
Daniel,
Check out this thread:

Maybe send a PM to ^shane^ or jaxhiker for their opinions?
We have a LightHiker in the mail but I won't be home until the 20th to try it out. I am 6'2" and ordered the Classic which I love. I ordered the LH for my wife. If you haven't already decided, I'll give you my opinion when I get back from CA.
I hope to be hooking up with someone else from SoCal this Saturday so he can try out my Classic. Seems like the Switchbacks have generated quite a bit of interest lately. I understand why.

Ahh this thread, I didn't quit checking it in time. I put in an order for a Switchback 1.9 single today and I can't wait to try it out.
Congratulations. Don't come back here, ya hear!
