The Hoosier Hang is simply a get together of Hoosier hammock forum members. These local hangs give noobs like us(and veteran hangers) a chance to meet fellow hangers and check out some of their gear and setups.Unfortunately I haven't been able to attend as of yet, but look forward to the next chance to do so. You can keep an eye out for these events in the "hangouts, campouts, and trip planning" forum.

I've been hanging for about 9 months even the cold ones. Using a fox hammock and kelltty 12x12, reflectix and 50° bag with wool blanket. Not very many hangers in my town. just going to the woods with my son and cyotes.

    Welcome MotoBoss!

As one who has done both, I can say that hanging is definitely better than ground dwelling!
