Here's my new IX UQ, prolly nothing earth shatteringly new. At the end of the day its a full size (for my wife) 3 layer underquilt, final dimensions something like 48" X 64" and I'm not too sure about that, neither do I know the weight. I built the whole thing w/o any plans, or drawings, I just worked it out in my head and then hoped for the best. I'd rather be lucky than good, and so with many happy coincidences it all fit together.
My wife used it over the weekend and it was probably only in the 50's at night and once we got the ends snugged up good she was really warm. We'll keep testing to see how low we can go.
Hinterland gear has just sort of become my "house brand" of gear, I'm getting to the point that I've made most of my gear so I gave it all a name
Thanks for watching, and as always comments and criticisms are always welcome (hopefully more of the former than of the latter).
