    who makes it???

after an irritating 30 mins on google, i just thought somebody here might know,

    who makes momentum 90?

who makes spinnaker cloth or spinntex?

i think i read that momentum was made in the us, and i bet spinntex is too, but by who?

it's not performance textiles unless i'm just missing it.

I heard somewhere that Momentum90 was made specifically for the owner/operator of Thru-hiker.com. His name escapes me at the moment. Sorry.

I think MLD gets it all from thru-hiker, along with spinntex .97.

I know what you are thinking WBG. I thought the same thing.

"Man I'd like to get some of that momentum90, but almost $14 a yard. I just can't do it. That is $60 for just the material of a quilt. I'd like to spend my money on the down. Rip-stop is only .2 oz more. Wait..... maybe I can find another supplier on the net. Someone else has to have it for less."

I couldn't find anything better either. I just saved up enough money by doing unsavory and humiliating tasks for the elderly to buy the down. Now I'm going to have to find a kidney somewhere just to get the material. If you come up with something please let me know. I guess nobody checked Magna's price.

I have really been wanting to make a hammock from Momentum90. I know it's only .95oz per yard but it looks thicker/tighter weave than all the 1.1oz I have ever seen. It also seems stronger.

Would you make it a double layer hammock?

If I went with Mom90 I would like to do a single layer. That would make the hammock body about 1/2 the weight of the 1.9oz I normally use.
