TCT:
Water is going to be an issue during the middle and end sections. There is only one place that I know of for sure that has water and that's going to be questionable towards the end of the summer.
You will need to pack lite and have lots of storage for water. This is going to be one HE*L of a hike as water IS going to be sparse for most of it.
We will have to have cars at multiple locations for water refills.
I'm still working on all the details for planing this hike.
===> Okay at the moment, thanks! Wanting to be in the woods!

ME: "Doc, I am NOT afraid of Death - it is an old acquaintance. I have probably seen/caused more than you!"
ONCODOC: <stunned silence>
ME: " What does scare the bejeezus out of me, is being given the time, but living a mediocre life!"
ONCODOC: " uummmm well, yeah, I get it ...."
ME: "Seeya in six months, Doc! Live purposefully!"

OK so back to the NEHHA event, anyone have a location for us to think about?

OK so as the President, looks like I will post where we will be going in the fall.
Anyways, due to some requests and ideas and also my personal opinion to keep it somewhat central to new England as we start to grow as an event I think the fall event should be held at Monadnock State Park in N.H.

So the problem is that I live about 3hrs from there and I have no idea as to what sites are good for hammocks.
The group site is not an option due to the lack of trees from what I have been told by park staff today.
I was given the number to the other office there and talked to Denis who suggested that someone should stop in and look at the sites and make a list of the good sites for us to use due to the fact we need trees.
Denis thinks that Loop B, sites 7, 8, 11, 10, 9, & 6 might be what we are looking for but there is no way to know for sure as he is not a hammock camper and doesn't want to miss lead us.
Is there anyone that lives close by that can take a ride over and look at the sites?
If so, let me know and you wont be charged to get into the park to look around. I just have to let Denis know when you will be stopping in and he will let the other staff know.
We need to start reserving our sites soon as they said that they fill up on the weekends now as they are getting into there busy time.
Also we need to pick a date, Sept, 23 - 26 are open for the entire loop right now. Any objections to this date if we have confirmation on the sites being good for hammocks?
