    Backyard Thunderstorm

Weather report is calling for definite rain and possible thunderstorms tonight. Time for me to finally test out my newly seam-sealed BMJ. I know the ridgeline didn't need sealing, but I had to seal the pull outs. Plus, I've not yet had the pleasure of hanging in the rain. Looking forward to it. It will also be my first time hanging without an uq since the temps are supposed to stay above 70*F. I have a crappy sleeping bag for a tq, but I think my winter Incubator might be slight overkill! Will post report tomorrow if tree doesn't fall on me!

    Well, I learned three things:
    1. The weather man is quite fallible. Not only did it not storm, it didn't even rain! Not a drop. I will try again the next time rain is forecasted.
    2. I must be a cold sleeper because at 70*F, I still wanted some insulation under me. I slept pretty well, but I did have some slight CBS. Guess I do need to make myself a summer uq after all.
    3. There are owls in my backyard, and they do not take kindly to strangers sleeping nearby. They serenaded me all night!
