I really enjoyed that! You for sure have some Dr. Suess looking trees down there. Glad the jury-rigged UQ kept ya' warm. Boiling and beard combing in the woods....perfect.
Did you used to live in the States.....kinda heard it in your accent a few times. If not....no offense meant.

What a beautiful spot, very jealous Great video, thanks for posting.
That looks like quite a nice place. Can you walk across to the other side of the river at low tide?
Hey, Thanks for the TR, and a wonderful way to wake up. Tell us about your cooking gear & foods. Welcome to HF.
Hi Mate,
Nice set up! just joined... looking at getting a hammock myself. Your set up looks really good!
The trees I think you are referring to are called a Angophora costata, the common name is smoothbark Apple, which is a silly name because they look nothing like apples. They are one of three Genus (Angophora, Corymbia and Eucalyptus) that are refered to down here as gum trees.
They are the most awesome gnarled tree, especially when growing over rocks,.. The gum you can see staining the bark in the picture below can be diluted and used to treat diarrhea, and has antiseptic properties and can be used on wounds to stave off infection...
Sorry to go off topic on my first post, I am off to a good start eh!
Great Vid! Might give that track a go...
