Thanks again for replies. Scotchbonnet, great pictures and description. Looks like you did a great job with the zipper (I'm sure wobbly stitching is just as strong). I like your idea to roll the net around the ridgeline.

Freddiver and Lattie, thanks for your insight on a different method. I hadn't even considered cutting into the body of the hammock. I'm not sure which way I'll install the zipper. It seems like Scotchbonnet's way would be good if I wanted to have zipper on both sides of the net. I would rather just have one side zip off, like a Blackbird. Hmmm....
