My bladder won't let me sleep for more than 2 hours

Great input in this thread, thanks guys. At home I don't wake up at all during the night, but this last weekend (first overnight outdoors in the hammock) I woke up to pee about 4 times a night. That got old fast. I'll try some of the suggestions here and see how it goes. I'm using an ENO Doublnest so maybe this will be my excuse to buy a new hammock.

I didn't read the whole thread, poor manners on my part. The way I understand it is that for men, our torsos are the heaviest part of our body so we slide down in the hammock. Even at a fairly flat lay that means our feet are higher than our torsos which puts pressure on the kidneys. The extra pressure causes you to have to pee more often.

I have to pee 2-3 times a night in the hammock. Never tried to solve it, just chalk it up to part of the experience. Think of it as a bonus, let's you see what's going on under the stars late at night. Plus you get to experience those first few moments of getting back into your hammock and getting comfy. All the better when it's cold out.
