    First time hangin.

First time sleeping in a hammock (Eureka Chrysalis) slept great but when I woke up in the morning found that my butt was almost touching the ground. My question is is it normal for the chrysalis straps to stretch, if so is only for the first couple time its used or is it a constant problem.

man that things pretty. always wanted to try the chrysalis. It might stretch but also isnt it a adjustable webbing type suspension? I might be wrong but that could be the part slipping
Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......

Great look, is that a Kelty 9 on it? For your stretch, I've looked at this thread below:

.... the Aardvark (earth pig)... a rather unremarkable creature whose sole claim to fame is that it is the first animal listed in the dictionary.

Thanks for the link rreeves. Ya thats a kelty 12. I picked it up on sale when I bought the eureka Hammock. It was my first time using the hammock and will be from this point forward, my tent will now be retired.

The only problem I had was with the hammock lowering over night while I was a sleep like a baby. The other problem my dog woke up in the middle of the night and tried busting out of the hammock. I guess he herd something, he final busted out putting a small tear in the door flap, I'm fixing at we speak.
Here a better pic of the tarp, My view waking up in the morning and my hammock buster.

"Hammock Buster", snicker snicker. Luv it, got 2 Basset Hounds that would love to hang. I use whoopies on my DIY, with the link I gave you you can easily save some weight and drop some of the potential stretch... as long as that link is good advice. Maybe PM the writer to see if any concerns after the fact. Great lookin burrito by the way.
