    My first hang

Just wanted to share a video of my first hang using the GT SBPro and the Kelty Noah 12.
I had the best sleep I've ever had outdoors and was easily able to sleep on my side as well.
There's NO going back to a tent!

Thanks everyone on HF for edu-ma-cating on the wonderful world of hammocking!

Glad you had a good first night. Most folks don't realize how comfy hammocks are for camping. Where abouts did you camp??.
The great thing about the lower mainland as an urban area is your only an hr or two to the mnts and wilderness.

I was actually on Pender Island (Gulf Islands). But ya, I'm pretty much one bridge and a short drive to Golden Ears Provincial Park which is a beauty!

    Hey Canadian_Eh,

Good to see you enjoyed the first night out. Nice set up you have. I like the small table you had. was that from MEC ?

Great first night. I felt the same way after my first night. I probably said it exactly the same way you did. I like SB Via but alas I still need sugar and cream with it. Doesn't mean I can't bring coffee mate and sugar packet though.

I swear the flavored ones you won't want sugar in it. I usually have my coffee with sugar and cream but really didn't need it with the flavored Via coffees.

The small table is the Backpacker Table from Outbound. I bought it on sale at my local Wholesale Sports. It folds up quite nicely (perfect for my kayak).
Here's the link to it on the Outbound website:
