    I really like that! I wonder how seat belt webbing would work to reinforce the top of the pockets.

    I'm surprised this thread popped back up.

    I haven't used it a lot, but with the pockets and end doubled up on the second version, It should hold up well.

    I decided that as much as the poles cost, using them like this might not be in my best interest...YMMV. I tried "trail sticks" and found that it took a fair amount of whittling to round the chair ends and sharpen the ground end.

    It doesn't take much though if you want to play with the idea and it can be used as a normal two rope chair as well. I suppose it might even be used as a Jerry chair???
