The new Hickery Brother's Bear Deterrent. We had a bear that raided the cook tent and destroyed everything until he took a bite out of the soap box. That should even be more effective and easier to pack.

I have to say, that Linville Gorge is a beautiful spot, but Dude, those Pork Brains with milk gravey were downright nasty. What possesed you guys to take that with you!!! Did Hickory go up to the store clerk and ask which food never sold, which food required that they pay the manufacturer to take them off the shelves?? Did they have a special on Bromo seltzer?? LOL!!!

Now were i live it is impossible to get, but had i been able to get hold of a can of rotten herring I would be more than willing to send you a sample.
And by the way it is a delicacy and I love it. Taste like old, old cheese. Once eaten you can taste it for days, your morning constitutional has its smell and should you spill some in your kitchen, chance is the smell will never ever go away.

Absolutely beautiful scenery.....especially for a flatlander.

The only thing I've seen near as bad in a can was "Imitation" vienna sausage. We all have a pretty good idea of what kind of questionable stuff is in real vienna............ can't imagine what's in the imitation variety.
